Our Compass
Anne Willieme leads ALW Atelier, an art creation space, that brings about interactive art performances/installations, choreographies, dream and art research and art engagement programs.
Much of Willieme’s work revolves around sensory perception. With an interest in delving into how multisensory-themed artworks can enhance our senses, she explores how deepened sensory pathways can help us access new ways of thinking, feeling, and seeing.
Welcome to ALW Atelier
Interactivity is also a central tenant of ALW Atelier as viewers are invited to become participants in Willieme’s work. Such art pieces function as a hybrid medium, combining installation, performance, and art engagement into one participatory event.

ALW Atelier also focuses on the realms of self and planetary ecology, dream work and art analogues as potent territories within which art can act.
ALW Atelier’s approach is inherently multidisciplinary both in terms of Willieme’s artwork, which makes use of multiple media, and also because of ALW’s collaborations across domains.
ALW Atelier mixes high and low tech, from paint to augmented reality and partners with academics, scientists, physicians and software engineers.
